Is it legal to buy research peptides in Ireland?
Research-grade peptides sold as research chemicals for in-vitro laboratory use are not medicinal products under Irish medicines legislation. See our HPRA regulations guide for the full detail. Peptides Lab Ireland operates strictly under the research-only supply model.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card payment for individual research orders. Institutional accounts have purchase-order invoicing and bank transfer options — see the Wholesale & Institutional Supply page.
Can universities open an institutional account?

Quality and Certificates of Analysis
What purity do you supply peptides at?
≥ 99% HPLC-verified purity per batch is the standard for all compounds where the technology supports it. See our COA guide.
Who tests your peptides?
Every batch is independently tested by Optima Labs — a third-party analytical laboratory. This is independent verification, not the manufacturer marking their own homework.
Do you supply Certificates of Analysis with orders?
Yes. Every order ships with the batch-specific COA for the compound(s) delivered. Batch numbers on the vial match batch numbers on the COA.
What’s on your COAs?

Delivery and packaging
How long does delivery to Ireland take?

How do I reconstitute a lyophilised peptide?

How should I store reconstituted peptides?
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C for immediate research use; aliquot and freeze at −20 °C for extended research protocols. See our cold chain and storage guide.
How long are peptides stable once reconstituted?
Compound-specific — most peptides in bacteriostatic water are stable at 2–8 °C for 3–4 weeks. Full details in the reconstitution guide and on the batch COA.

Returns and refunds
Can I return an unopened product?
Sealed and unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Full detail on our Refund and Returns Policy.
Can I return an opened product?
Once the seal is broken, cold-chain and sterility integrity can no longer be guaranteed to match the batch COA, so opened products cannot be returned. This is standard practice for research reagent supply.
Compliance and regulatory
Are your peptides for human use?
No. All products are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and educational use. Not intended for human or veterinary use.
Are you regulated by the HPRA?
