Frequently Asked Questions — Peptides Lab Ireland

Common questions from Irish research groups ordering peptides from Peptides Lab Ireland. For anything not covered here, contact research@peptideslabuk.com.

Ordering

Is it legal to buy research peptides in Ireland?

Research-grade peptides sold as research chemicals for in-vitro laboratory use are not medicinal products under Irish medicines legislation. See our HPRA regulations guide for the full detail. Peptides Lab Ireland operates strictly under the research-only supply model.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card payment for individual research orders. Institutional accounts have purchase-order invoicing and bank transfer options — see the Wholesale & Institutional Supply page.

Can universities open an institutional account?

Yes. See Wholesale & Institutional Supply. Institutional customers get bulk pricing, PO invoicing and priority dispatch.

Quality and Certificates of Analysis

What purity do you supply peptides at?

≥ 99% HPLC-verified purity per batch is the standard for all compounds where the technology supports it. See our COA guide.

Who tests your peptides?

Every batch is independently tested by Optima Labs — a third-party analytical laboratory. This is independent verification, not the manufacturer marking their own homework.

Do you supply Certificates of Analysis with orders?

Yes. Every order ships with the batch-specific COA for the compound(s) delivered. Batch numbers on the vial match batch numbers on the COA.

What’s on your COAs?

HPLC purity chromatogram, mass spectrometry confirmation, water content (Karl Fischer), endotoxin measurement where applicable, storage guidance, batch and dates. See our COA reading guide.

Delivery and packaging

How long does delivery to Ireland take?

2–3 working days for standard Ireland delivery from EU fulfilment. Institutional orders get priority dispatch. Full detail on the Delivery to Ireland page.

How are peptides packaged?

Insulated packaging with cold packs for temperature-sensitive compounds. Discreet outer labelling — no compound descriptors visible externally. See Delivery to Ireland.

What if my delivery is damaged or delayed?

Photograph the packaging on arrival and email research@peptideslabuk.com within 48 hours. See our Refund and Returns Policy.

Reconstitution and storage

How do I reconstitute a lyophilised peptide?

Standard technique with bacteriostatic water. See our full reconstitution guide.

How should I store reconstituted peptides?

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C for immediate research use; aliquot and freeze at −20 °C for extended research protocols. See our cold chain and storage guide.

How long are peptides stable once reconstituted?

Compound-specific — most peptides in bacteriostatic water are stable at 2–8 °C for 3–4 weeks. Full details in the reconstitution guide and on the batch COA.

Compound-specific

Do you stock BPC-157?

Yes. See the BPC-157 product page and the BPC-157 research reference.

Do you stock GLP-1 research compounds?

Yes — Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, Cagrilintide, Mazdutide and Survodutide. See the metabolic research peptide category.

What’s the difference between Wolverine Stack and Glow Stack?

See our detailed comparison: Wolverine Stack vs Glow Stack.

Returns and refunds

Can I return an unopened product?

Sealed and unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Full detail on our Refund and Returns Policy.

Can I return an opened product?

Once the seal is broken, cold-chain and sterility integrity can no longer be guaranteed to match the batch COA, so opened products cannot be returned. This is standard practice for research reagent supply.

Compliance and regulatory

Are your peptides for human use?

No. All products are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and educational use. Not intended for human or veterinary use.

Are you regulated by the HPRA?

The HPRA regulates medicinal products in Ireland. Research chemicals supplied for in-vitro research are outside the medicines authorisation regime. See our HPRA guide.

What if I have a specific batch quality concern?

Contact research@peptideslabuk.com before opening the affected product. Batch discrepancies are handled as quality management, not routine returns.

All products supplied by Peptides Lab Ireland are for laboratory research and educational use only. Not intended for human or veterinary use.
