Reconstitution reference 5 mg BPC-157 vial
| Bacteriostatic water added | Working concentration | Volume for common protocol doses |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 ml | 5 mg/ml (5000 µg/ml) | 250 µg → 50 µl · 500 µg → 100 µl · 1 mg → 200 µl |
| 2.0 ml | 2.5 mg/ml (2500 µg/ml) | 250 µg → 100 µl · 500 µg → 200 µl · 1 mg → 400 µl |
| 2.5 ml | 2.0 mg/ml (2000 µg/ml) | 250 µg → 125 µl · 500 µg → 250 µl |
| 5.0 ml | 1.0 mg/ml (1000 µg/ml) | 250 µg → 250 µl · 500 µg → 500 µl |
Working concentration formula
concentration (µg/ml) = (mg in vial × 1000) ÷ ml of diluent
Example: 5 mg BPC-157 + 2 ml bacteriostatic water → 2500 µg/ml. To deliver a 250 µg dose: 100 µl.
Reconstitution technique
Standard technique , see our full reconstitution guide. Warm both vials to room temperature, wipe stoppers with alcohol, draw diluent with 30G insulin syringe, add slowly against the vial wall, swirl gently, allow full dissolution (typically < 30 seconds), label and refrigerate.
Reconstituted stability
Reconstituted BPC-157 in bacteriostatic water is stable at 2–8 °C for approximately 4 weeks for most research protocols. BPC-157 is notably stable in aqueous buffers, which is one of the reasons it’s a widely used research standard. For studies running longer, aliquot and freeze at −20 °C.
Research protocol context
Published preclinical BPC-157 research operates in wide concentration ranges depending on the model system. Rodent tissue-repair studies commonly report doses in the 5–500 µg/kg range across models. Cell-culture studies operate at nM to µM concentrations. This reference chart supports reconstitution : defer to your specific research protocol for dose selection.
BPC-157 blends
BPC-157 is a component of two pre-formulated tissue-repair research blends:
