Semaglutide research protocols operate across a wide dose range depending on the model. Cell-culture receptor pharmacology uses nM to sub-nM concentrations in assay buffer. Rodent metabolic models use weight-normalised doses in µg/kg to mg/kg ranges. Molar-equivalent dosing is used for comparative studies against Tirzepatide, Retatrutide and other agonist-class references.
Semaglutide reconstituted in bacteriostatic water is stable at 2–8 °C for approximately 4 weeks. For longer studies, aliquot immediately after reconstitution and freeze at −20 °C. See our cold chain guide.
